A Letter from Rusty Hamrick
Founder of Huff Creek Properties
In 2010, determined to pursue a profession that I was passionate about, I joined NAI Earle Furman to start a land division focused on hunting properties and timberland in upstate South Carolina. At the time, selling large tracts of land seemed like a great opportunity for a fulfilling career and so far, that has been true. The last fifteen years have been an incredible journey highlighted by valuable lessons, wonderful people, and hard-earned success. The ride also had a few bumps in the road. Looking back, it is gratifying to see how far Huff Creek Properties has come.
I consider myself fortunate to be in this business. New obstacles to overcome occur on a regular basis and the tenacity and resourcefulness required for achieving results constantly keeps me on my toes. The highs can be high, and the lows can be low and learning to navigate through the wins and losses has helped us grow in the right direction.
The leadership and mentors at NAI Earle Furman have been instrumental to this growth. Integrity, collaboration, and client success have been core values since my first day on the job and serve as a testament to Earle’s remarkable 50+ years in the industry.
Thank you to all the incredible people who supported Huff Creek Properties during our first 15 years. This long list of clients, coworkers, family, and friends have contributed to our success on so many levels, and I am grateful for all the past and continued efforts on each of your behalf. I am also very excited to see what the future holds. Our current Huff Creek team consists of a knowledgeable group of individuals passionate about land and capable of big things in this field of work.
